Each ring is distinctive with its uniquely-shaped Australian Blue Ligtning Ridge Opals, but tied together by matching mixed metal designs. These opals are some of the rarest and most  vibrant gems found.  This pair of rings perfectly balances modern design with organic, elemental beauty and vivid color.  Stunning and singlular for making beautiful memories together.

Each gem is highly luminous with its suble patterning exposed with movement in light. HIgh karat 22Y solid gold encasing each opal, magnifies it brilliant color and slightly golden interior patterns, as well as being protective.  A step mounting of textured sterling silver raises the gemstone to a full focal level and acts an an contrasting surround.  The mounting is attached to a generous solid sterling band, hammer-textured for further luminescence.   Band edges have been filed to a contoured comfort fit.  Sized at 7.5 and 10 for the average sized female/male hands or smaller male hand, they may be resized within one size range with my laser.  

These gems and their designs are one-of-of-a-kind and fully hand fabricated.   Opals are relatively soft gems and easily damaged by chemicals or knocks.    They are in a protective setting with a low profile but reasonable care with wear is required to maintain their beauty and integrity   Sold individually or as a set.  Birthstone for October.  

Dimensions/Specs:  US size 10 triangular opal - 7x10mm opal, 6.7mm wide solid sterling band, 1.8 mm thick, solid 22KY gold bezel (0.3 grams wt);  US size 7.5 pear opal - 4x7mm opal, 6.7mm wide solid sterling band, 1.8mm thick and 6.5mm wide, solid gold 22K bezel (0.3 grams wt). Opals are natural, genuine Lightning Ridge Blue Opals mined originally in South Wales, Australia.
