Midnight Luminescence: Rutilated Quartz/Black Jade Dangle Earrings

These statement earrings feature a mesmerizing play of light and dark, showcasing two distinct varieties of rutilated quartz.  The top accent round brilliant is uncommon copper rutilated quartz with rutiles clearly visible. Its facets catch the light with its color maximized via a prong setting.  The lower dangle is a unique doublet of gold rutilated quartz layered over black jade.  The rich jade intensifies the fiery gold needles visiible within the quartz.  This unusual combination is distinctly beautiful and a bit magical.  It's nestled in a sterling silver bezel setting textured with organic striations.  Open backs create additional light flow.   Total drop length is 2.5 inches, with maximum width 5/8 inches.  Handmade earwires and double connections balance the dangle and create fluid movement.  

These artsy, organic earrings are a great style accent to wear to creative spaces such as galleries or other art events.  Their aire of mystery and sophistication render them perfect for upscale evening dinners or other date nights, but yet, they are not too formal for daytime transitioning from work to happy hour.  Best maximally displayed with swept back hair styles, lower necklines or monchromatic turtlenecks or chamisoles.  Pair them with a chunky gold/silver chain to let them shine on their own.
